Choose the responsibility you can complete. Make one deployment cleanly real.
IOC separates relationship, property activation, qualified field work, platform activation, and proof so each completed contribution remains visible, attributable, and compensable.
A trusted introduction may open the property. An activation partner may carry the owner and project path. A qualified field partner makes the approved installation physical. IOC defines the application, hardware, pricing, activation, identity, operating record, and continuity. One person may carry several approved responsibilities, but each responsibility must still be completed and recorded.
Which responsibility can you actually carry to completion?
A role becomes real when its required facts, actions, evidence, and handoff are complete. One participant may carry several approved roles, but an introduction, an activation, a field installation, and IOC activation remain different responsibilities.
Relationship connector
Introduce the responsible owner, manager, board, portfolio, or institution and register the property burden and attribution.
Property activation partner
Carry authorized property facts, owner communication, access, scheduling, coordination, milestone follow-through, and closeout.
Qualified field partner
Perform the approved survey, trade work, installation, testing, labeling, restoration, photographs, and truthful field return.
IOC / platform activation
Define the approved application, hardware, firmware, pricing, customer terms, identity, operating policy, activation, evidence record, and continuity support.
Start with one bounded project class you can complete cleanly.
The physical form changes, but the field discipline remains the same: approved scope, correct trade boundary, truthful installation, local restoration, usable evidence, and clean closeout.
Lighting and suitable hardwired loads
Selected garages, parking areas, hallways, exterior lighting, pumps, heaters, or other panel-served responsibilities where ratings, protection, code, and scope are appropriate.
Irrigation and distributed low-voltage boundaries
Compatible valves, zones, controllers, pumps, cellular gateway, complete local schedules, authorized field access, testing, and portfolio-ready records.
Selected devices that repeatedly need a reset
Routers, gateways, readers, intercoms, cameras, controllers, payment systems, chargers, and other suitable support equipment requiring a defined interruption, restoration, and verification event.
Monitoring and diagnostic boundaries
Baseline, runtime, current, energy, schedule, service, or operating history used to target maintenance and decide whether a larger intervention is justified.
Open → scope → install → activate + prove → repeat.
Field growth does not come from claiming a territory or distributing hardware without a completed result. It comes from one activation that leaves the owner, the physical work, the operating record, compensation milestones, and the next decision clear.
Visible work earns visible economics—and repeat work is earned through performance.
Different contributions can be paid separately when they are actually performed, attributed, approved, tied to written milestones, and supported by customer payment. Current amounts belong to the applicable referral, activation, field, or project pathway rather than one universal commission table.
One participant may earn for several completed responsibilities.
A relationship introduction, activation coordination, survey, installation, closeout, and continuing service are different contributions. They may belong to one person or several people.
Responsibility grows from completed work.
Qualification is earned through truthful representation, training where required, workmanship, documentation, commissioning behavior, owner communication, closeout quality, and support performance.
A clean completed deployment is more valuable than a large unproven territory.
The public Glenoaks lighting project shows that existing-building retrofit work, long-duration circuit-level operation, and documented results can become a credible proof point. It does not mean every site will produce the same savings or that every later IOC application is already proven.

You may be reviewed as a Property Activation Partner, qualified installer, practical field partner, irrigation professional, controls integrator, maintenance or service partner, or for several approved responsibilities.
Continue through the path that matches the responsibility you want to carry.

IOC will identify the approved role, the first project class worth learning, the field or trade boundary, the activation path, and the written milestone that makes the contribution visible.
