IOC enters through the existing panel, controller, plug, pump, gateway, valve, or other suitable equipment connection. The property does not need to replace every controller or integrate every building system before receiving value.

For suitable panel-side applications, the contained installation is designed for hours of field work rather than weeks or months of construction. Actual time depends on access, approvals, readiness, code, safety, equipment, and commissioning.
